Concept of my app

Everyone will be on there own island.

- The more you plan a meet-up with the person, the person's island will be nearer to yours.

- If you never plan a meet-up with the person for 2 months, the person's island will be further from yous and it will prompt to notify you.

Treasure box is for storing your attended event.

- If it's empty, it means you had attended no events.

- If you had attended an event, there will be a scroll in it.

Why Treasure box?

- Treasure box stores precious items in it, which means those memories of the attended event were very precious.

Intention of my app

My intention is to encourage people to stay in touch.
- The more they meet-up with each other, the more closer they will be than before and the longer their friendship will last.

Why?
If people do not stay in touch with each other after a long time, their friendship will not be as close as before and might become strangers as time goes on.

Creating of first App (part 2)

SO! I came out with another idea, which is the Friend-Minder app! :)
This app allows people to create an Appointment/Event/Gathering with your friends!

My metaphor : One man island

"No man is an island, Entire of itself,
Each is a piece of the continent,
 A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
 Europe is less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
 Or of thine friend's were.
 Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involve in mankind.
 Therefore, send not to know
 For whom the bell tolls,
 It tolls for thee."
- John Donne

Which means human beings do not (or should not) live in isolation. All people are interconnected. A person is not like an island, standing alone and surrounded by sea.
No one can survive alone on their own. Even if you're one man with the entire island, you will also need someone to socialize/interact, if not you will be bored to death, unhappy etc etc...

Creating of first App (part 1)

My idea of my first was actually a music app where people can search for the song title (like soundhound), able to create ringtone, listen to your own music and also to rate the music and see what's the rating of the music as well as to see what's the latest/ top rated song.

But after consultation, I choose to do another idea which is Note + Reminder (To-Do) app where u can draw etc etc.. BUT! that App seems a bit too simple and unable to make it more creatively.. (as we're too exposed to the latest gadgets and app, that was an already existed app)

Some examples of Gesture!

Here are some of the examples/tips of Gesture!
For iphone/mac or any other touch-screen gadgets.

Example 1:

 Example 2:

Example 3:

Example 4:

Will you be able to identify them? :)

I bet all of you know what to do on the screen when you first get your hands on a touch-screen gadgets. For me, it's quite basically common sense and for those unexpected gestures, i will trial and error to find out more about it and why is it that way. After knowing the reason why it is set that way, it makes sense. I will NEVER look for a manual guide for it, because trial and error is the best way to learn and experience new things! :)
